A blog [blogger] is a free blogger service run by google company and it;s given free to anyone who wishes to create one or more for himself in as he can accept google policies and perhaps manage it effectively to earn money too. blog is not too difficult to create and manage because the interface is very straightforward. create your first post in your blog is as easy as typing up a regular text document.

so when thinking about how to make money online you should seriously consider blogging, it is one of the easiest means of making an honest living online. if you are not familiar with blogging or how it work, let me give you an insight. blogging is basically a website which allow you to update information regularly and easily
 you don't really need to be a computer guru to blog, all you need is to know how to type.
you can blog about anything you know about. something you could update and refresh on regular basis. if you write interesting topic on your blog you we attract and retain a lot of readers and when more people visit your blog, the more chances of making money for you. one of the ways to make money from your blog is to insert google adsense on it, which if any of the people that visits your site clicks, you make money.you may like to ask; what is google adsense? because it sounds new right! don't worry we shall still come to that.
there are many blogging platforms you can use to launch your blog. you can use www.blogger.com which is free , you can also use www.wordpress.com which is more preferable and advanced, though you have to spend some little money here to get your domain name and a hosting account if you want to monetize the blog.
by nature, a blog is an ongoing conversation with the reader and as such it requires regular updating. a blog can of course be very profitable but  it requires constant work.
i started with www.blogger.com .i own blog already in www.blogger.com but wordpress is highly recommended. this is because wordpress has many themes and plugins, which also it's functionality,usefulness and control to be extended. but in this site our discussion is narrowed down on blog.
for you to start blogging and make your money, you need to create your own blog, which is entirely free from the one of t he most celebrated website on the international network [internet] called www.google.com .it is important to state here that you need to have a GMAIL account i.e google e-mail address for  you to successfully create and mange your blog which is like a mini-site given to you by google company. for you to create a blog, you need to follow these procedures                                

                                      PROCEED TO CREATES BLOG;

STEP ONE; ACCOUNT SIGN-UP
first go to the blogger home page at 
www.blogger.com of google company. there you will find a graphic in the center of the page showing you the three step to create your blog.

                                    CLICK ON THE ARROW THAT SAY ''CREATE YOUR BLOG NOW'' 

On the next page, you will be asked to create a google account that is if you do not have existing Gmail account but if you have already created google account by signing up for Adwords, then you can skip directly the next steps by logging in with your pre-existing google account.otherwise, you will need to go ahead and set up a google account by following the instruction on the screen below;

now, you should see a screen asking you to name your blog. what you need too do here is give your blog a ''title'', as well as select a ''username'' that will be used  as part of the web address for your blog. for example,you might name your blog ''networking'' or any other name you like depending on the area your interest lies. this is the title people we see when they visit your blog.now, let'say that the username ''networking'' is available. this will create your blog address at;http;//networking.blogspot.com, which is the url you'll use to sent visitors to your blog.
click 'continue' again, and you will be taken to a page where you can choose the 'template' for blog.
your template is going to be the overall ''look and feel'' of your blog.
it set the color scheme, layout and text styles for things like links and headings.
you have a number of templates to choose one, so choose the one you think looks best and fits with the the image you want to convey. you can't go wrong choosing a 'clean and simple' template.
if you are not satisfied with the above templates, you can scroll the bottom close to''continue'' to see more templates, then make your choice.you can also preview before making your choice by clicking on ''preview template'' then if the template is considered ok by you, you will simply click on the image of the template you want, then click ''continue'' you should get the following message 
SUNDAY ONYENOBI! your blog has been created! now you can move on the step two

STEP TWO;CREATE YOUR VERY FIRST BLOG POST

After clicking on ''START POSTING'' you'll be taken into the main administration area for your account, and you'll see the blog entry tool waiting for your first post.
when you take a look at the screen shot below. you'll notice that the functionality is much like that of a regular word processor
this is where you we type, the text for your first blog entry. notice that you can 'PREVIEW' your entry to see what it will look like on your blog.
you can also ''SAVE AS DRAFT'' if you need to stop working on your entry and come back to it at a later time.in order to officially ''PUBLISH'' button. if everything went ok, you should receive a message like the one below, telling you that your blog posted successfully.
your blog post published successfully! view blog [in a new window]
to see the finished results, click on ''view blog''.here are the results that will pop-up in the next page;
and there we have create a post
a real, live blog created in just a few simple steps. if you've already got some write-up for your blog prior to setting it up, then this whole process shouldn't take you more than more than 5-10 minutes to complete

VIEW BLOG/ Helps you to see the end result of the article, which you published, and the way it will appear when you must have clicked on it ''VIEW BLOG''
EDIT POST/ helps you to edit the article, which you have published in case there is the need for you to rework on the already published article. you can effect so many change if you want form formatting text, changing picture, adding colours etc.
CREATE A NEW POST/ Gives you the opportunity of creating a fresh article and perhaps publish it for people visiting your blog to see.on 
VIEW MY COMPLETE PROFILE/When any of your visitors visits your blog and he want to know about you, clicking on view my complete profile button take him to your profile page where he will get to know about you possibly view your article or pictures. it's advisable that you be truthful while building your profile on your blog.
